If you’re a regular visitor, you might have noticed things look a little different around here. We’ve been busy behind the scenes—not just with new 3D printed designs and crochet patterns, but with some major technical upgrades to our home base: shackintheback.ca.
We made the leap to a new hosting provider to ensure a smoother, faster, and more reliable experience for all of you, our amazing community. We want your time browsing our Crochet Animals, 3D printed dragons, and Laser Engraved items to be nothing but smiles and smooth sailing!
The Upside-Down of Upgrades
While the new hosting is fantastic and sets us up for a much brighter future, we have to be completely transparent about one very important, and slightly heartbreaking, part of the transition.
In the move, our entire archive of previous blog posts, tips, stories, and event recaps—all the digital history we’ve built up—was unfortunately lost.
We tried everything to retrieve it, but sometimes technology throws a curveball, and we had to make the tough call to embrace the fresh start.
To those of you who enjoyed those posts, we are truly sorry for the loss. We’ve valued every comment and every piece of engagement on those old articles, and we are sad to see those memories go.
